This being my primary field of work, I have been directing films for over 7 years. I am responsible for writing, shooting, directing, editing and advertising all of the projects I pursue.
FAREWELL MY DARLING
My latest work in writing and directing, we began filming in the summer of 2020 after 6 months in pre-production. Consisting of a 65 page script, the formation of K5 Pictures, and by far the most production work we have ever put into a film, my latest story takes form as a girl named Jenny grapples with the decision of leaving her hometown on the last night of the summer of 1976 to pursue a lifelong dream.
JULIE: A SUMMER LOVE STORY
With 7 months of production, we hosted a premiere on November 15th of 2019 in which over 500 people attended. This was advertised through the daily newspaper, online articles, radio stations, morning talk shows, interviews, flyers, and a trailer that gained thousands of views weeks before the release date. At the event, behind the scenes books, soundtracks, etc. were sold/given to the audience and cast. The film tells the story of Mark and Julie and the love they shared in the summer of 1974.
THE SECOND SHOWING
On January 11th the second showing of Julie: A Summer Love Story was held. This event featured a live panel Q&A and a first time look at deleted/extended scenes.
A VITTRAS BOX
The first standalone film breaking away from the "Zoey Video" series, I consider it my introduction into true storytelling. The production spanned 8 months and premiered on June 8th of 2019. Though we previously had a large following, this project really began to gain traction with views into the thousands, also featuring our first live audience premiere. This film takes on a much darker tone telling the story of Matt and Della as they uncover mystery of the "Vittra."
